Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information BOUND collects, how we use it and the choices you have. BOUND is operated by Vantage Point Enterprises LLC. By using BOUND you agree to this policy.

1. Information you give us

When you create an account and use BOUND we may collect:

• Your email address, used to sign in and secure your account
• Profile details you choose to add, such as your alias, city, age range, hobbies, skills, languages and the reasons you joined
• Content you post, such as room messages, board posts, prayers and check ins
• A photo if you choose to upload one, for example a pet photo
• Your membership tier if you subscribe

Many areas of BOUND let you post anonymously. When you choose anonymous, your alias is not attached to that post.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most apps we may collect basic technical information needed to run the service, such as app activity and device information used to keep the app working and secure.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to create and run your account, show your profile and posts to the community, match brothers for accountability, deliver the features you use, process memberships and keep BOUND safe. We use safety tools to detect harmful content and to respond to reports.

4. How your information is stored

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure database and authentication provider, on our behalf. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, though no method of storage is completely secure.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run BOUND, such as our database provider Supabase, our subscription provider RevenueCat and Apple for payment processing and when required by law or to protect the safety of our community.

6. Memberships

Paid memberships are processed through Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status so we can unlock the right features for your account.

7. Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile information in the app at any time. You can request that we delete your account and the personal information tied to it. To delete your account you can use the option in the app or email us. Some information may be kept where we are required to keep it by law.

8. Children

BOUND is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above when we do and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
